Giving Tuesday 2023

Giving Season is upon us! Please support our “Museum Studies: ‘Care and Share’ Community Heritage” campaign. Help us to help museum studies and public engagement undergraduate and graduate students in your department. All gifts will support internship stipends and travel expenses so we can make more opportunities available to your students and, thus, the institutions they serve – art and history museums, botanical gardens, and community organizations like Howard High School and the Christiana Cultural Arts Center.  Earlier this year, a UD team helped Howard High School’s Alumni Association to prepare their amazing library, archives, and object collections for students, teachers, alumni, and community members. These collections record more than 100 years of Delaware’s first African American high school, and highlight the school’s long-term commitment to civil rights and equity. At Howard High and many other places, your students have helped curate collections and exhibitions, digitize records, and share the important, often unfamiliar stories that promote inclusive histories, social justice, diversity, and equity. Please share our fund raiser with anyone who shares our commitment to MSPE students. A gift of any amount makes a difference.
