C-AID 2023 Howard HS

This 2023 C-AID project involved cataloguing and rehousing collections at Wilmington’s historic Howard High School. The school recently enjoyed a nearly $50-million dollar renovation, which included transforming the original 1927 library into an exhibition and collections storage space. As the only secondary school serving Black Delawareans in New Castle County for nearly a century, the school and its alumni association have maintained an important collection documenting that history, which we were excited to help  preserve and organize so that students and the broader public can access it.
